Merlin works with engineering, manufacturing and logistics teams to uncover operational friction and strengthen safety-critical controls. We combine practical engineering understanding with structured diagnostics and pragmatic improvement planning.
1. Discovery and scope
Agree objectives, boundaries, stakeholders, confidentiality and the evidence to review. Define what success means before work begins.
2. Evidence-based assessment
Review agreed procedures, interviews, sample records and workflows against a documented assessment framework. Areas may include maintenance, contractor control, machinery safety, risk processes, accountability and digital systems.
3. Prioritised findings
Distinguish critical control gaps from efficiency opportunities. Explain the evidence, limitations, implementation effort and likely operational impact. Any estimated savings are explicitly assumptions until validated.
4. Improvement roadmap
Deliver clear actions, owners, suggested KPIs and a 30/60/90-day plan. Optional implementation support is scoped separately.
